MALAGA 2026

Hotel Mijas, Malaga, Spain - February 8-13, 2026

Shoulder to Shoulder is a global movement dedicated to affirming biblical singleness and equipping singles for life and ministry. We believe singles are not “waiting to be whole” but are fully integral to God’s mission—bringing unique gifts, resilience, and perspective to the global Church. At our conferences and cohorts, singles find belonging, spiritual family, and tools to thrive, while teams and leaders gain clarity on how to honor and integrate singles well. Together, we are building networks of authentic friendships and empowering singles to flourish in their calling.

This year’s theme, “Called: Seen, Heard, Known,” reflects the conviction that single workers are fully whole in Christ and integral to His mission. The theme highlights God’s affirmation of singles, inviting them into deeper belonging and resilience while challenging the wider church to recognize and celebrate their unique contributions.

We cannot wait to see you in February!

The Shoulder to Shoulder Story

The Shoulder to Shoulder Story

In 2009 a group of single global workers gathered on Guernsey Island for encouragement, refreshing, and dreaming. Knowing that 25% of the global mission workforce is made of workers who are single or single again, they saw the opportunity to equip, encourage, and elevate biblical singleness. This led to a the development of a team of practitioners, authors, missional leaders, and business professionals who began building the Shoulder to Shoulder platform. For years this has been the springboard to teaching and growing deeper understanding of the role singleness plays on mission teams and in global organizations. Each year Shoulder to Shoulder host a conference for global workers focused on biblical singleness and its implications, the team members speak as presenters in conferences and host training for mission teams and organizations.

Affirming Biblical Singleness. Exploring Its Kingdom Implications.

Shoulder to Shoulder is a global movement equipping singles and their teams to thrive in cross-cultural ministry. Together we celebrate identity, foster authentic community, and strengthen workers for gospel impact.

Singleness is not a waiting room—it’s a powerful, God-given calling. Shoulder to Shoulder exists to affirm biblical singleness and equip single workers to thrive in life and ministry. Our gatherings create space for singles to grow spiritually and emotionally, build authentic friendships, and discover belonging in spiritual family. At the same time, we help teams and leaders better understand, honor, and integrate singles into the mission of God. Together, we are celebrating stories, strengthening resilience, and equipping singles for fruitful global impact.
